On 12 September 2025, Dr. Ian Parenteau, Secretary of the International Association of Military Academies (IAMA), accompanied by Dr. Danic Parenteau, Interim Academic Director of the Royal Military College Saint-Jean, visited the National Defence Academy (NDA) of Japan in Yokosuka to explore potential cadet mobility programs.
During the visit, they met with:
- Mr. Fujihiko Matsumoto, Director of the Academic Department
- Dr. Naoki Kato, Director of the Center for International Exchange
- Colonel Seiichiro Akimitsu, Deputy Chief of the Center for International Exchange
The NDA is a military university serving the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, Maritime Self-Defense Force, and Air Self-Defense Force. It offers academic programs at all three university levels.
